This might form the basis for an integrated player, and it works with
the SlimServer -- though I don't want to turn this into a discussion
about the merits of the SlimServer v. MythMusic, both of which I use

So last night was the season premiere of 24. Unfortunately, on
the East Coast, the football game went over by about 15 minutes.
Since the guide data could not anticipate this, my recording was set
for 8-10 pm and I would have lost the last 15 minutes of the
show. Fortunately, I noticed the

It may not be wise to be too cutting edge for a production system. FC4 works well.

The mythburn scripts specifically say that the contents of the temp

that, everything is gone.
Sorry, but this means that there probably isn't anything wrong

Look for a posting I did that recounts what you need to make it work under FC4 as set up under Jarod's guide.

Have you tried calling projectx with an explicit path to the Sun Java executable? I use:

Here is the line from Jarod's guide. I've had to use it on my Fedora
Core 4 Mythtv boxes. Oddly, it's in the lirc section of his guide
rather than the ivtv section -- though it appears that the behavior is
the result of some interaction between lirc and ivtv modules.
