Why don't ripped DVDs (vobs) show up in "watch videos" until *after* I visit the Video Manager? shouldn't they show up immediately? How does one eject the DVD after ripping it? I have to switch consoles and type eject to get the disk out, else, I guess the automounter mounts it and won't auto unmo

I can't get my plextors to work, and I don't know what to do. I am using mythtv r5a16. Issues: hot plug does not work right. I have to unplug and replug the units in to get the /dev/video devices made. /dev/vbi* are there, but i get 'no such device' errors on them. I cannot cat them, but I can ls

I got myth tv to 'work' (DVD ripping does dot work, it fails on my Matrix Reloaded DVD) but my Plextor encoders are acting all weird. The video goes off the screen at 1024x768, so I only get 1/4 of the picture (this I can chalk up to not really an encoder issue) but the video I get is extremely b
