I just ignore the errors and hit the play button and all is well (I
assume because xine is passing the raw AC3 to my external receiver).
Thanks for your help with my ignorance...

I am afraid I am over my head with this one. I managed to get my

I get no sound from non-digital sound sources using MythVideo. I

I second the JP-1 idea. You need build yourself a JP-1 cable (an old IDE cable works well) to program your remote with.
Check out http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/ for more info.
Here is what I did to get mine working with MythTV http://jason.sharonandjason.com/remote_mini_how_to.htm
Good luck
I figured out the problem. When I created a new MythVideo File
Association under Video Settings -> File Types, I created it as
".iso". It should have been "iso".
Thanks for everyone's help...

The iso's are stored in /video/ripped/ along with all other MythVideo files.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks again for peoples time...

Like many other people on this list, I am trying to create a Myth DVD
juke box. I want to be able to create images (iso) of my dvd
collection and be able to play them back in MythVideo with full menus.
I have successfully created images using Scott's script below and

Sigh... I have said it before, but I will say it again. Have you
thought of using JP1 remote programing? It's the greatest thing since

upload/download stuff to your remote.

If you were able to get MythTV up and running, why not take a stab at
programing your remote via JP1? I was able to create a "remote
upgrade" code to control MythTV using my $25 One For All URC-8811 via
the hauppauge built in IR receiver.
It works great and does absolutely everything I could want
My wife had the same complaint about the LED. I just unplugged the

I second the aria and coolermaster cases. I have one of each, and

I am trying to get my MythTV frontend remote working. I have
installed FC3 using Jarod's guide, and am able to connect to my

When I watch "live" TV I have no audio problems. However, when I
watch something recorded or start recording something I am watching,
the audio is significantly degraded (static-like).
I was under the impression that "live" TV is nothing more than a three
second delayed recording.
