Is there a way to wipe your channels and data without loosing your
entire database?
I switched today from cable to directv and need to update my database
with all that new data and remove the stuff from the cable programming.

mythbackend is running on. If for some reason your network goes
down (switch/cable etc..) you would loose the ability to record.
Make sure your network/computers can sustain high r/w data flow if your
going to put your storage and mythbackend on different machines.
