So far everything with MythTV runs cool except the Program Guide. I
have to go thru some "hinky" menu to get to it, and when I select a show
to watch, the screen goes dark. If I press the "OK" button again on the
remote I finally get the show.
I've tried the MythWeb stuff but without any rea
7;ve tried to open up the MySQL security to "%"@"%", adjusted every
permission I can find, etc. but nothing seems to work.
Anyone got any good ideas/suggestions?

Does the playback automatically skip over them. ... or do I have to key
something on the remote each time to get it to skip over the commercial
and continue with the program?
