I just built a replacement mythfrontend.
I copied my lircrc from the old to the new as well as my .lircrc.
If I run irw, every key press ( and release ) is registered and things
seem to work well.
If I start mythfrontend I can navigate the menus without problem.
However, if I click
My mythweb used to show thumbnails for for shows.
It broken a month or so ago when I was running fc3.
I recently upgraded to fc4 ( fresh install ) and am still having the
problem.
The mythbackend.log contains the following errors.

I only really want to keep about 3 minutes of the program.
I used the edit mode to set a cut point in front of and behind the clip
I want to save.
I pressed X to transcode.
