I have been unable to tune my MythTV to any channel at all.
I am using the latest Hauppauge Nova-t DVB card and thanks to Dave I have
remove the cx88_blackbird and replace it with cx88_dvb driver instead and
mythtv can now pick up the card in the card definition page.

Thank you for your quick reply and you were perfectly right.
I removed the blackbird and inserted the cx88_dvb and the system was able to
recognise the Hauppauge Nova-t as a dvb device.
Now that I have been able to set up the card and ran the mythfilldatabase
successfully, I tried to sca
I have purchased the Hauppauge Nova-t card to be used in my mythtv system
because I have read that it is well supported and works best for DVB in the UK.
However after installing the KnoppMyth R5A26 it does not recognise the model
and does not set up the card properly.

On the next screen enter

Bandwidth 8Mhz
Inversion Auto
Constellation QAM16

Trans.Mode : 2K
Guard Interval: 1/32

Help!
My frontend/backend hard drive died the other day
(sob!) and I had to rebuild mythtv (Gentoo). I keep
my recordings on a separate machine and need help
getting putting them back into the database.
Any pointers please?
Im running 0.18 from portage.
