suite of tools and concepts is quite fine on sunny days, but it's hard
to beat good old standard file operations, mount points, and symlinks
for sorting things out when things get nutty.

already combine my small-dish satellite signal with my off-air
antenna via a diplexor, but I'm thinking of an additional,
differently-oriented off-air antenna if I can do it without another
cable run.)

they only carry the Zenith RG-6 Quad shielded connectors, and they're
fairly expensive. However, the tool ought to work fine for various
other brands of compression connectors. I tried it already with some
"Ideal" connectors I got at Home Depot.
