netdvdplayers on the market with a sigma-designs EM8620L computer on a chip,
which is able to do the 'same' as the Hauppauge 350 card. It also has a

ProjectX solves the av/sync problems and if your data > 4.7GB it
automatically requantisizes to what fits on the DVD

hdparm -E 1 /dev/hdx (x is your cdrom hdc probably)
Noisy, when seeking, harddisk goes away with
hdparm -M 128 /dev/hdx (x is your bootdrive hda probably)

I'm using a Myth installation on a Pundit-R and would like to use 2 DVB-S
cards, watching/recording, but I need a CI/CAM for the non-FTA channels. I
can mount 1 CI/CAM at the bottom of the Pundit. I know there are card

I do have a KNC1 adapter with a CI a CAM and the smartcard I received with the
set-topbox from Casema.
Look at www.sat4all.com, there are some people who amanaged to get it working
although not with the current Irdeto smartcards but with older ones, I don't
know which ones.

LNB switching doesn't work as far as I can see. Having 2 LNB's ASTRA 19.2 and
28.2. frequencies on 19.2 are found but not the ones I need from 28.2.
Freq 10773000 with Symbolrate 2200 and H is on both, manualy defining to
use lnb2 doesn't solve the problem.

In Holland we face the same things. Today I ordered 2 DVB-C cards with
CI-modules which will do the same as 2 analogue tuners do at this moment.
Haven't tried yet but are confident to get things going.
