I have an old P 3 @ 450 mhz slot 1 cpu and an ATA 33 IDE / motherboard laying
around. Is this fast enough for PVR 150? I am considering making it a backend
with an AMD 1.2 ghz PVR 350 frontend.

WelllI am getting an IVTV INTR error. So I tried the Fc2 apt-gets and was
having problem with those as well. I saw that FC2 is now legacy and don't
want to be left behind. So I am trying to upgrade to FC3.

I am using FC2 on an Epox 8kta3 (Amd 1.2 ghz) with PVR-350 as Backend and
frontend.
I want to remove my GF 3 Ti200 video card to conserve heat and energy (I use
PVR-350 s video output). I set the bios to halt on no errors. Even with this
set, it appears that the mobo won't boot without a vide
A couple weeks ago I added a 120 gig drive. I noticed one day the drive was
very hot to the touch. I immediately got another fan and place it directly
over it. Since then the drive temp has been much better.

ok, I got the ivtvdev installed now and cleared up another problem where the
msp4300 wasn't in modprobe.conf.
When I startx it seems that it loads in another virtual console, but when I
control-alt-f8 to it, it loads on the monitor and not on the tv.

I am also having the same problems with Fc2, PVR-350 and AMD 1.2 ghz cpu. I
tried setting to real time priority and suid.

Try doing the grub.conf change here. ivtv-fb now works for me in rc.local in
FC2 on bootup.

I have auto expire on, 1 gig threshold and check every 10 minutes. All
programs are set to auto expire. I got down to .16 gig and nothing happened.
I looked in the mythbackend.log and didn't see anything about auto expire
running.
Where else might I look?

I believe there was a symlink /dev/fb -> /dev/fb0 and also reinstalled firmware
from ivtv wiki.
