Well, I don't know if I should have said artifacts. A lot of lines
(especially in cartoons) look like they've been blown up from a smaller
size. They're pixelated and blocky. There's also some issues with blocks

What do you mean by 'artifacts'? Specifically, MPEG-2 compression artifacts?
(The "lines and things in my picture" bit makes me think you are
referring to something that looks like interferrence and/or
glitchyness, etc?)
