You need to demux the streams into elementary streams (individual
audio and video) and then remux them into DVD program streams. (i.e. a
program stream with NAV packets)
OK - thanks Ian, I've got it sorted now!
Thanks,
Jonny

How can I make a DVD from them?

Hi,
I've just tried ProjectX on some of my DVB files, and it seems to have
worked really well. I've edited them, and converted to ts. Can anyone
tell me the next step to DVD please?
I've tried using qdvdauthor and dvdstyler, but neither of them like
the ts files. (Both as a .ts and as a .mpg).
Just to finish this thread up...
Thanks Nick!

That was it, the new version produced absolutely in sync files that I

went with the defaults and had no sync related issues.
Good! I've found the latest version

Project X which is written in Java and works fine in linux can
a) resync audio and video properly. It adds and drops audio frames
when demuxing to keep the sync. In a typical recording it does
this at most a couple of times when errors occurr.
b) deal with damaged MPEG

The doom9 guide is very useful here if a little out

Is there any way of converting a DVB MPEG stream to a DVD MPEG stream

remove bits then that would be even better.
Everything I've seen says to use avidemux,

To the best of my knowledge, you can't transform DVB PS to DVD PS
anyway without demuxing to seperate audio and video streams.
Check out dvb-mplex, and replex (which I believe is a hack from
dvb-mplex). They'll remux on the fly, and insert blank NAV streams.
