Scratch that, I was missing /dev/video16. I assumed the atrpms installed
this.

I have the same problem, I have tv out running on my PVR-350 with mythtv.
It is not detecting to use the 350 output when I watch tv, it tries to use
Xv and fails so the result is video through the tv out but stuttering. I
have the 350 output selected on my myth settings and pointing to
/dev/video1

I have a Matrox Parhelia video card, and a Hauppauge WinTV Stereo (if
memory serves) - both of which support XV. I run my system @ 3840x1024
(ie. 1280x1024 across 3 monitors, merged into one buffer), though I
doubt that makes a difference.
