Well, you don't need the frequencies, but unless this has changed in CVS in the last few days, "Hook it up, scan" only works if your cable service uses QAM-256. You can, however, change that to QAM-64 with a one-line change in: mythtv/libs/libmythtv/siscan.cpp Search for qam_256 and change i

I was recently informed by Taylor that the "Scan All" option actually works. I tried it myself and I found new stations I could pick up a county or two away. I live in Miami and I could pick up two West Palm Beach stations reliably. It's on my list to update the howto real soon now. Angel Byron

Hi, I'm trying to set up an Air2pc card and mythtv in my Ubuntu Hoary amd64 machine. Ubuntu has mythtv .17 debs available in its repository, and they seem to work for me. I've successfully downloaded the cvs dvb kernel drivers and incorporated them into my kernel and they seem to load: [EMAIL
