Actually, it was on the ivtv list. This was the short little blurb I wrote up a couple months ago when I reverse-engineered some of the registers. I guess I didn't get any size registers, but I'm fairly certain there are some, because I remember adjusting it in that way at one point, too. Your res

There is a way to modify the TV out size and location on the 350. Search the archives for postings by me involving ivtvctl and crazy registry hacks. Some of the hacks change the colors and others resize and move the output on the screen. I have a pretty good description with my findings, but I don'

I am using the 350's TVout and ivtv-0.2.0-64_rc3f.rhfc3.at from Axel's site. Horizontal scan percentage is 4 and vertical scan percentage is 1 (displacements are both zero). Sorry for the delay, I had to ssh into my mythbox to find out. Les Thom Paine wrote: On Tue, 22 Feb 2005 10:36:02 -0500,

I had the same problem until I experimented with overscan/underscan settings under the 'Appearance' entry in the setup screens. This is a separate control from the GUI settings and affects the on screen displays (clock, channel number, progress bar and browse info). I wish to extend my thanks t

Watch out, if you use KDE, then only using the GUI in a windows will allow to scale the size. With GUI in full screen you need a different window manager to use scaling. Johannes On Mon, 21 Feb 2005 10:08:33 -0800 (PST), Joe Votour <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > The PVR-350 driver doesn't offer ov

The PVR-350 driver doesn't offer over/underscan options yet, so you'll have to compensate through the MythTV GUI. There is lots of discussion about this in the archives, but basically, you need to change the GUI X/Y sizes under the Appearance menu, in the "Screen settings" screen. This may also r

I have my pvr-350 working reasonably well, with one problem. The TVOut seems to be bigger than the TV. I can't hardly see the clock, nor can I see the channel numbers when I'm switching through, and the last line of the program summary at the bottom is cut off. I tried setting the overscan to -10
