[mythtv-users] Quick question - Do I have to kill backend before I re-run mythv-setup?

I've got just about everything running and am waiting on the satellite box to be hooked up. I need to run 'mythtv-setup' one more time to setup the 'directv.pl' script to control the receiver. Do I need to shutdown the backend before I run mythtv-setup? I've looked on Google MythTv.org and
