No response before. Keeping it simple. What applications are minimum
to set up a slave backend? i.e. mythbackend is obvious, but anything
else. Also mysql. Is the server piece required or just the client?

I've had a Mythbackend and multiple frontends for awhile. I'm trying to
add a slave backend with another tuner. (I know there are other was to
do this, but this is my approach at the moment). I've got MythTV
installed and the tuner is setup. When I start mythbackend at the
prompt it appears
