1. Install Windows
2. Boot Knoppix and use qtparted to repartition the system drive --
should be hda1. You need to shrink the ntfs partition to create free
space for the Linux system. qtparted can shrink ntfs
non-destructively. Make sure the ntfs partition is well and truly
defragmented before

These may help:
It's easier to install Windows first since grub (FC4 default) will
get installed over the Windows boot manager and is much more
accommodating of Windows than the other way around. When you boot
your machine after the linux install, you'll have the option of
booting into a specific linux
