does anyone know why there is no 0.17 ebuild for myth? And why there
is only version 5 listed (what is version 5?)
The ebuild exist but is masked.
You should add the
It's strange - I have those in my keywords file, but those files
aren't coming up - I can only get the 0.16 and the 5 (whatever 5
is). I'll have to do some investigating to see what's broken in my
copy of portage.

That mythtv-5 is the cvs version. You probably overwrote the
not overwritten - overlaid.
the mythtv-5.ebuild file was in /usr/local/portage. mythtv-0.17 was
perfectly fine and happy within /usr/portage.
The problem was that mythtv-5 is newer than mythtv-0.17, so when I did
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS, it showed up instead of 0.17. When I didn't do ~x86,

I just realized what my problem was with emerging the cvs ebuilds for
myth - I had old header files installed in both /usr/include and
/usr/local/include. I deleted both of them and I'm trying to emerge
the cvs build again, but I have a while new problem:

if anyone needs the edited ebuild let me know. I'd post it to
bugs.gentoo, but I don't know if the problem is just me or not
