I just joined the list so I don't have all the entire thread to this
conversation but it seems like you are trying to recompile/update the
kernel
with some kernel modules. Are you doing a recompile of the kernel from
vanilla source or just using FC3s update mechanism?

depending on your distro)? when I installed the card I found that some
drivers had been loaded even though I hadn't added anything to
modprobe.conf. Would you mind sharing your's so I can see what (if
anything) is

actually need them. I got myth0.18 up and running on DVB fine (my
first myth install) without them.
