did you edit the file "startMZmine_Linux/Windows/MacOSX" to add more
memory to the program?
If, for example, your operative system is Windows you should edit the
file "startMZmine_Windows.bat" and change this line:
"set HEAP_SIZE=1024"
by
"set HEAP_SIZE= 4096" (or the memory that you w

some information about your system would be helpful (Windows or Linux or
Apple, error messages etc.).
Some hints:
You have to modify the start scripts, otherwise mzmine is unable to use
more RAM than ~ 1G, change the HEAP_SIZE to 4096 for example. You will
also need a 64bit Java vers
