I'm working on migrating a 1.4 server that uses some quoted check
commands. For example:
check_command "/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_file_age
-w 86400 -c 172800 -W 31 -C 1 -f /mnt/backup/aus-sql0/mysql/mysql.sql"

Doesn't that method send the checks through seperate NSCA connection (one
per check)?
While writing a custom NSCA script can send all the check results in a
single NSCA connection?

Hi,
I have been using Nagios 2.x for almost 2 years now and I have been very
happy with its performance. Recently I decided to upgrade to version 3 but
when I did Nagios stopped sending out notifications. I figured that I had
some bugs in my configuration so I rebuilt the whole thing one object at

I've seen reference to using the SSL certificate authentication

Hello,
For the sake of anyone that might be curious or runs into a similar
problem-
I posted on nagios-portal.de thinking (rightly) that there would be more
SAP users over there in Germany. One of the posters there came up with
the solution:
The main problem was that for testing I was using

Hi Patrick,
you where right! Centreon did not generate the nagios.cfg right:
broker_module= config_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/ndomod.cfg
I just manually changed it in:
broker_module=/usr/local/nagios/bin/ndomod.o
config_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/ndomod.cfg
and the problem is fixed!
tnx!
