Dear All,
I found that the nagios web page refresh rate is 90 second by default.
Is it possible to change it, for example, to 60 seconds?
Thanks a lot,

On the bottom right (in my FF), there is an underlined Nagios-"N" in the
bar. Right-click on that icon

As for the first question, I don't think you can.

Hi. Is there any way to get rid of the targets? We don't need them.
And how do I tell Nagios where on the map it is located?

Hi. I am using the default status map (circular, marked up) and my

It's getting cut off. Is there any way to have a smaller circle but
have it be completely inside the square image, please? It's

Ok, I am good now, I was missing "check_command check-host-alive" in
my host definition; I've added that and I am good now, thanks!!

Looking more closely in the Status Map, I can see in the extra
(pop-up) information about my host, next check scheduled for 14:51 PM.
14:51 PM comes and goes, and it still says Pending, and now the extra
information next check scheduled for 14:56 PM.

Thanks for your reply, Patrick.I've tried to force a host check,
both through the CGI ("Re-schedule the next check of this host") and
through the CLI (by writing "[time] SCHEDULE_HOST_CHECK;myhost;t

Hi. How can I get rid of all the "Pending" labels in my Nagios 3.0.5
statusmap, please?
For each host, under "Host State Information" (as returned by
extinfo.cgi), it says
"This has has not yet been checked, so status information is not available."
However I have half a dozen services being che

Hi
I installed nagios-3.0.5 (rpmforge) and plugins-1.4.13 (EPEL) in my
CentOS-5.2 box. The problem is that web interface only shows
"localhost", but when I run "nagios -v nagios.cfg" it scans 3 hosts. Why
this could be happening?
Thanks
Marcelo
Checking hosts...
Checked 3 hosts.
Ok well I finally got nagios running. I can't even indicate the level of
noob that I achieved during the process.
Thanks to all who offered information that helped me along.
Now to RTFM
Cheers,
Gary

The information provided so far indicates that hosts will only be
checked on demand,
Also perhaps not the most efficient way to do it for a big
environment, but in my small environment I define each service on a
per host basis, and set the notfication in the service definition.

Hello all Nagios people,
I believe to have found a problem/bug running the Nagios Plugins Service
under Windows 2003.
Its a strange problem, but I found the solution, by just change the
NRPE_NT Service Account to something else then LocalSystem
with ADministrator permissions.
Here is what happ

I need a bit of assistance with time periods. I want to notify/check
24x7 except for a short window when we run reports on the machine and it
doesn't respond in a timely manor. Every night we get a bunch of
notifications / criticals that the plugins have timed out.

Since you are using Firefox, you should definitely check out the
nagios-plugin for Firefox. I think it rocks bigtime , and the sounds
work, too :-)

Ah, my Nagios version (Nagios 3.0.3).
Also why all my hosts are checked more or less every 4 seconds? :(
Thank's!
