have much to do with nagios; it is a Redhat specific file.
chkconfig doesn't care about nagios.cfg. It will install any

What seems to happen is that if a service/host is in a warning state for a
while, and then goes to critical,

I just upgraded my prod nagios from 2.10 to 3.0.6 (on SLES 10.2), and now SMS
