I am workign with a site which i have being monitored by nagios, and for some reason when check_http runs it gets a 404, but if you go to the domain the page exists and the site exists. Would this be a false positive, and if so how can i fix it. Also another interesting matter is that when i try and run the script to check http from command line it times out even after increasing the time out timefrom the default 10 seconds to 20 for instance. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Storage Efficiency Calculator This modeling tool is based on patent-pending intellectual property that has been used successfully in hundreds of IBM storage optimization engage- ments, worldwide.
