I'm just running the NSclient on a Windows machine. I got the default
configuration of the NSC.ini but I have an error in the nagios:
Connection refused
I modified the NSC.ini to run the client on the 12489 port, and I add the IP
of the nagios server on allowed host.

You'd need to set up a passive check and write a plugin for the fan info
and smart status. NSClient++ can gather perfmon data but neither of those is
in perfmon.
