Hmmm well I have found my problem but have not got a solution.
NTP is changing the time on the system, and then
[1313911134.718762] [001.0] [pid=14714] compensate_for_system_time_change()
start
[1313911134.718767] [008.0] [pid=14714] Detected a backwards time change of 0d
0h 0m 1s.
[1313911134.
I have some checks to be run a specific times that are scheduled using
timeperiods, daily bacth job checks and the like
define timeperiod{
timeperiod_name 0600daily
alias For Running Checks Daily at 0600
monday 06:00-06:10
tuesday 06:
mation for the specified service..."
In the short term I am looking at putting underscores in instead of spaces.
Is this a problem for others running 3.0.2 and 3.0.3?
Does anyone lknow a fix for this?
Regards

Hi List
Running nagios-3rc3 on SLES 10and looking for a cpu/time efficient way to get
traffic stats from remote routers.
Currently doing this in our test environment with check_iftraffic.pl but this
can take over a second to execute, and given that I am anticipating 2
interfaces on each of 600
Is there an external command to reload the configuration?
Or is a /etc/init.d/nagios reload in essence the same as putting
"RESTART_PROGRAM" in the command file?

Brian,
Notifications for passive checks are no different then notification and
escalations for an active check. You set them both us exactly the same.

Hi List
Is it possible to get passive services to send out further notifications after
the notification_interval as active checks do if they have not been
acknowledged?
Am running Nagios 2.9 want to alert and keep alerting/escalating after
receiving a critical SNMP trap.
Any answer appreciate
