get an alert for #2 and then #1. Right now, I've tried to "rank" them
in order of most-likely to overheat to least-likely, but that won't
really work.

I have to do that because I want different hours for email and paging
(everybody gets an email, everybody gets paged during business hours,
but only a rotating group gets paged after hours).

Well, that's the only way to do it (adjust the notify-by-email
commands). Instead of using /bin/mail, I'm using /usr/sbin/sendmail;
the printf part includes the correct headers.
