Hello, I noticed there is no "use" directive in contacts.cfg. Is there a specific reason that templates are not able to be used in contacts.cfg?
My contacts is set up like this: --- TEMPLATES START ---- <define params for 'contact-template-all'> <use 'contact-template-all', add params for 'contact-template-email'> <use 'contact-template-all', add params for 'contact-template-pager'> <use 'contact-template-all', add params for 'contact-template-both'> --- TEMPLATES END --- <contact definition, use 'contact-template-email'> <contact definition, use 'contact-template-pager'> <contact definition, use 'contact-template-both'> I hope that made sense, I can include the actual contacts.cfg stuff here if it didn't make sense to people. If there really is no templating available in contacts.cfg, can this be a feature added to 3.x? I'm sure it couldn't be that hard to implement, since Nagios overall supports (and encourages) templating! -- Chris Jones Senior Systems Manager Pittsburg State University Phone: 620-235-4158 E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- There isn't much difference between Linux and Unix.
