If you read the thread you will see that the error referenced is from the
template.cfg that was not been modified.

I tested moving the files from the template.cfg to another .cfg file and the
error reoccurs.

We have an installation of Nagios with 226 hosts. If we try and add another
host then we are unable restart Nagios service and we get a CONFIG error
