I'm trying to monitor an EMC SAN with Symmetrix, but am hitting a brick
wall. EMC's ECC console has up-to-date information on the SAN but doesn't
have an SNMP interface for Nagios to query. The ECC co

I tried repeatedly to generate a core dump but they aren't as common
as this -- however, this looks like it's the same think. What do

doesn't matter either as we've had the problem on x386 boxes, i64
and even z/Os VMs.

What instance do the CGIs reference? My current attempt does just
that and both sets of CGIs return the same results, even though
the config files are different.

instance.
If two instances isn't the best way to solve this, are there any

nd is because of the additional
checking I get when Nagios does name resolution with each
check. This approach has alerted us to numerous problems
before getting that dreaded call from the customer.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, the seg fault only occurs once in about 20 uses.
Two questions:
1. Has anyone else seen this?
2. Is there any way to report this bug so a developer experienced
with the code can look at it?

nable failover monitoring, how do I get these statuses into
the slave Nagios? We sure don't want notifications to start going
out, again, after someone has turned them off, if Nagios fails-over.
Is this something that I can bring over with NSCA?

if hostgroup_name is defined, then the
host_name field can be skipped? They seem mutually exclusive.
Allowing host groups for services would be real nice, too.
