Questions:
Is it necessary to modify the Nagios/cgi config in any way to achieve what
we're doing?
Is is necessary to modify the Apache config?
Is is necessary to set any other ENV variables besides REMOTE_USER?
Thanks for any assistance/guidance you can provide!
Dustin
Sorry if this has already been asked but I¹m new to the list.
Question: Is there an add-on or other method for enabling more advanced
authentication for Nagios or is htaccess the only method? I¹m thinking
something more like a MySQL database or LDAP, etc.
Thanks,
Dustin

there is a better way to achieve this in lieu of creating 320 services.
Thanks,

I will RTFM on Nagios 3. We had not considered than an option as we are using
NagiosQL and are awaiting a release compatible with Nagios 3.
Thanks for your reply!

You might want to check the archives from last week, as there was
another discussion on this if you are looking for more information that
you can collect and monitor with Nagios.
