[Nagios-users] Changing notification command based on notification periods

Is it possible to define different notification commands for different notification periods for a single user? I'd like to have notifications sent by e-mail during our working hours and additional notification by SMS out of working hours. Presently I'm doing this by defining two contacts, james an

[Nagios-users] Problem with dependancies and notifications

I've got a number of hosts sitting behind a router. I've configured the hosts in nagios so that they depend upon the router being available. When the router fails I get a single alert as I'd expect, but it's a notice about the one particular host behind the router every time and not the router its

[Nagios-users] Nagios querying services no longer in configuration

I'm running the Debian nagios package, nagios-common 1.3-cvs.20050402-8. I've removed some hosts and services that were recently removed from our network from my Nagios configuration and restarted nagios. However, I'm still getting e-mail alerts that the service is down. Have I forgotten to do so
