Hello,
I am running Nagios 2.8 in a production environment with 700 hosts and
12,000 services on a single machine without any issues.

I am looking to eliminate the timedevents and servicechecks data from
being NDO'd into my database. Currently my data_processing_options is
set to -1, which includes everything. The documentation refers to a
header file that doesn't exist to OR the values together to get the
right dataset. Has
find_contactgroup() start
I am not quite sure where to go looking for problems from here, as I
do not know what step comes after this. It hangs right at this point,
and it has sat there for over 30 minutes, before I kill -9 the nagios
process.
Any ideas of where to look for problems?
TIA,
Jay
and how worthwhile was it ? I have 3
semesters of German, but it has gone unused for quite some time.
TIA,

Join SourceForge.net's Techsay panel and you'll get
in the nagios.cfg file (ignorehostdependancy=0/1) but
that might be harder then just making a source code tweak. Before I
went digging in the source, I wanted to see if anyone else had tried
this.
