Hi It´s a bug in nagios-plugin 1.4.8
Fix with vi the config.h in the nagios-plugin.1.4.8/
Search for #define PING_COMMAND and
Change it to
#define PING_COMMAND "/bin/ping -t %u -c %u %s"
Works fine

Hi
The wincheck_counter plugin has to be on a w2k or 2003 box.
The plugin to get the information is check_nrpe from the Linux/unix site.
If you want to get info from remote hosts (linux) you need a NRPE or via
SNMP
Example

Did you install all mysql-devel / client depencies ?
Do a ldconfig -v | grep mysql ?
Vi /etc/ld.so.conf and add your path to the Mysql-lib
i.ex . /usr/lib/mysql
then do a ldconfig
this works for me

Hi there. Sorry to spam the list but thought I'd send one last plea
for help debugging an installation of nagios and ndoutils that simply
refuses to log to mysql.
I have tried both tcp sockets and unix domain sockets with the same
results:

PNP is a tool that produces graphs from performance data from from Nagios
plugins.

It´s a nice little handy tool , i installed
it and it works fine after i changed the path to the nagios.log
(instead for status.log) file (nagios ver 2.5)
in /cnagios-0.13/config.h
Now it works fine for me.
