I'm having trouble creating dependencies on my fairly small scale
nagios installation
I am monitoring our remote office, which has a DSL link and VPN
between here and there. As its DSL and on occasion goes down I'm
trying to get nagios to stop monitoring the fileservers over there t
I've got problems with our air conditioning cutting out when the
external temperature reaches 30 degrees C, the main source of heat in
our server room is the render farm which isn't as necessarily as the
file servers, so I'd like to be able to automatically turn them off.

Has anyone got a simple solution for sending SMS alerts to mobile phones?
In this case as its only me who will be receiving the alerts, I presume
messages could be sent to the o2 (my service provider) sms gateway,
however I'm yet to work out what the address for this is, if it exists.
