I am having some difficulty with the Filters.properties file which is used
with the nagios appender for the log4j. Now the appender is working fine
which is great as it speaking to nagios etc.
However I am looking to use the filter file which is causing me a little bit
of a grief.

You will need to install openssl-devel on your machine this will resolve the
SSL headers issue

Considering this command is looking for "check_dummy" should I remove this

"define host" is the command used to check that the
host is alive; this is not a default for service checks which require
(usually) their own individual check_command.
