-adaptive with the state id (Ok, warn, crit)
of the plugin conn on the current host (as defines by $HOSTNAME$), the
same holds for the serviceattempts. But Nagios presents me the verbose
text $SERVICESTATEID:$HOSTNAME$:conn$ instead of the values i want to see.
Any ideas ?

Let Crystal Reports handle
should be able to schedule a downtime, not
me ;-) ). So I thought about a setup where my Nagios server pulls this
scheduled downtimes from another server. Is there already something
which could help me in setting this up ? Or do you have another
suggestions ?

use apache, so look under /var/log/apache2/error.log if you

Hi!
Please check if there is only 1 intance of nagios running. I had the
same behaviour when accidentially starting at least 2 instances of
Nagios. This screws things up..

and was wondering if anyone already has implementet some kind of
hysteresis in Nagios ?
My scenario is the following: I want an critical state when temp rises
above 26 degrees. As long as it doesnt drop below, say 24

Thank you all for you tips. After careful inspection of my log files i
was even able tu identify the faulty sms storage slots :-).
I got a replacement sim card from my employer and now everything is
working as expected.

Hi List !
I hope this is not too off-topic, but it is somehow related to Nagios,
so here we go...
I use a Siemens T35i GSM module for sending Nagios notifications as
well as using it as a email-to-sms gateway. This worked for at least 3
years in a total of about 12000 SMS.
Since several
they didn't get
notifications...) and several other things...
So, has then been done some work yet ? Otherwise i was thinking about
patching Nagios to need my fits..
