Hello, I am having a problem getting my Nagios 2.x installation to alert me when one of our BlueSocket wireless access points goes down. These are accessed via a BlueSocket controller, which speaks SNMP.
Nagios is issuing this command: check_snmp -H x.x.x.x -C public -o 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.13 -w 1 -c 1 -l "BlueSocket Interface 13" It returns this and an OK status when it is up: BlueSocket Interface 13 OK - 1 It returns this and an UNKNOWN status when it is down: BlueSocket Interface 13 problem - No data received from host I need for it to alert when it is down, and preferably show a status of DOWN, but no matter what I specify for the critical and warning values (it will return a 1 if everything is OK) I can't get it to alert when there is no data received from the host.
