Is anyone able to run Nagios (mysql) v2.1 on Debain Sarge ?
The version in Apt is only 1.3.

You could always add the dag repository. That seems to have newer
packages, I've used that on CentOS before.

Debian Sarge was released as "stable" in June 2005, way before Nagios
2.0. It is Debian's release policy to only touch a stable release

Nagios 2.0 is in the unstable release already as the nagios2 package.
I expect that the maintainer will do an upgrade to 2.1 fairly soon.
