Hi list,

I'm currently setting up service checks with event handlers. The special thing is that I need multiple checks for one service (two tcp ports and one http check) and the event handler has to restart the service if one check fails. The event could be called multiple times if more than one service fails. Do you think it is the right way to use check_cluster2 to prevent multiple handlers (meaning multiple restarts) to be executed? Only the service cluster has an event handler in this setup.

Another question i have is: What would be the right way to determine if the service stops again some minutes after restarting? I want to send a notification after some restart attempts. Is the use of service flapping the right way? Is there an alternate possibility?

thanks in advance
matthias
