6000+ services on a single host and my notifications go out

Hello,
I have configured nagios on our server but nagios is giving wrong
information that is it sends a notification saying that a device is down
although the host is up and running.
I think this is related to plugins issue.
Has any one experienced the same issue? Or any link where I can find
