I am having the same experience w/ the gelac base just like you
said..."Not liking the base coat at all. Does not seem to cure well;
appears to dilute the color. Have  tried multiple lamps and increased
cure time."  I did some research and found new application
instructions online. These are completely different than the pamphlet
I received when I purchased the product. I thought you might find it
