Hi everyone! Would anyone share what they use as a soak and a scrub when giving
pedicures? Any home-made? Thank you in advance.

Elena, I believe they only have one foot scrub and I've used it a lot. I've
tried several brands (quite a few, actually) and that is easily my favorite.

Yes, they have great pedi scrubs. I usually stirred it up before scooping it
out but it really does have great texture to me. It's a fine grit and feels
great. Since I'm not working after moving from WA to TX, I've been using what I
had left in the shower and it feels really good on my skin...no
as I like the scent and its moisturizing effects.

I really like Young Nails Lomasi sugar scrubs. The pomegranate scent is the
favorite with my clients and me--- lemon is also nice and I liked the cucumber
one but my clients didn't.
I like these scrubs because when you add water it gets creamy and lotion like
and rinses off easily.

Honestly, some of the best scrubs I've used are the Nubar ones. Great texture
and the scents are yummy. I personally do NOT like the cuccio scrubs at all.
Too big and chunky and the salt just goes flying and makes a mess. Konna Latte
and Sherbet Splash are my favorites from Nubar.

I usually use callus eliminator. It gets rid of the shredded look. I also
don't doak for a long time because I find the more I soak the worse the
shedding is.
I don't dry file because if the dust, but I still use the callus eliminator
on a dry pedi.

I posted this on the forum also, but want to reach those that do not
frequent the forum boards for their advices. :)
Q 1 - I did a pedi (basic soak and so on) and then when I got to the
callus reduction point, (client had no callus but extremely dry skin
around the heel) after using the foot file
Hello Techs,
I read an article recently and now want to see what some of you have
been doing.
With all that has been going on with whirlpool spa units, how have you
changed your pedicure procedures?
Do you soak without using jets, did you go to waterless, etc.?
Please share
Thanks
