Hi Michelle,
By now you probably have the answer to this but I'll respond anyway, just in
case. You can wipe with either. I generally use acetone on my final
dispersion layer but alcohol to remove the "sticky" before finish filing.
Your dull surface sounds more like your final application is not

You can wipe with Alcohol, Acetone or even a combination of both if
you wanted. Typically dullness is from bulbs that aren't high
quality. There are some other reasons people will see dull finish,
one being as you said about it going on too thin, most cases this
isn't a problem, but make sure yo

It's the tunnel lamp I bought from Gina, so I think that's 36 watts. I
cure it for2:15. That's howling the timer is. Is that too long?

I think I remember hearing that if you cured Topgloss too long, it will be
dull. I sat in on a class in Orlando, sorry, i can't remember what the
proper cure time is. How long are you curing and what wattage of bulbs does
your lamp use? Is it all fingers or only the thumbs.

My lamps are new and I like the top gloss. So which do I use? Should
I lay it on thick or thin?

Michelle, make sure your lights are new. With me, that's how I knew my
lights were going badnot curing accurately or the dullness appearing. I
don't even bother with the Top Gloss. I just use the Trilite Pink Gel for
the top coat. That advice was given to me by one of my Akzentz reps.
