right..THAT comes right off when I clean it...
I can hand draw on a matte nail just fine...just can
You can't do stamping on a sticky layer you do the nails shape file then stamp
then gloss top coat

They all work the same for me, but if you want full coverage with the
patterns you need to use adhesive.

I've found that the really "cool" ones with a pattern do not work in the
tacky layer, you must use the glue. The plain ones work like a dream in
the tacky layer. We got all of our foils from DollarNailArt.com

The non colored side. Hmmm "slides right off" .. That doesn't sound right. Cut
a small rectangle of foil... And dab (pressing but do it quickly) ...pull up
sharply...dab...pull up sharply... Do it after curing with only the sticky part
left on the nail
Does that help at all?

I watched the robin moses video (someone referred to her in an earlier response
to this thread)she uses something called the "best glue ever" to paint
designs on the nail and apply the foil to that. Has anyone tried that?

It's very random and looks really cool, to get complete coverage, you need
to use adhesive.

I use foil almost daily if using the glue it has to be totally dry if using the
tacky layer take some acetone and wipe off the brown back layer before you
apply look at Robin Moses videos she is the bomb at all nail art!!

I've done this a lot. I never use the glue. I can't seem to time it quite right
so I just use the tacky layer. I do spots of foil since I can't get the whole
thing to come off completely covering the nail but it still looks cool.

Am I just imagining it or have I seen foils applied to gels on the sticky
layer? I've tried it w/ very little success. It could be the foil I bought.
