At one place I worked we did not have a Hot Cab for towels. What we did
use was an Electric Roaster!  It worked Great! There was a wire rack in the
bottom and you could stack the towels several layers thick, or use Larger
hand towels for different services. In the morning we put a little water and
layered the towels on the rack and cranked it up! The towels got hot fast
and then we turned it down to "Hold." It was really a Great alternative!

 

  I have seen them at "Sams Club" on sale and cost a bit more than a Crock
Pot, but way under $100. Might be the perfect answer for some of you.
