about putting battery backups on at least the neighborhood amps...they
realized it was pointless to put batteries in the MTA if they don't put

get in, boltcutters will usually do it. Or even a pair of dykes can get
you past most chain-link fence..

on since at least '96 without resolution. I've got
specific allow filters in my firewalls in front of the DNS servers that
allow AXFR requests only from a small list of DNS servers. The next
filter is a block/nolog filter so I don't hear about it anymore.

This might explain the (very!) high number of maintenance alerts from
QWest
