Hello,
We're looking for DIA in the 20 - 50mbps range for a
warehouse we have in Hebron, KY. CinBell has been a
bit "slow" to respond to our DS3 requets, so I'm
wondering who else in town has their own facilities
(also wondering who might be a good for a backup
circuit)?
Thanks!
Eric :)
looking for 100 mbps access to a new office in Ogden, UT but don't
know who the decent players are who already have fiber locally so
we can avoid huge build out costs. Suggestions off list would be
appreciated!

I wonder if Skynet upgraded to v6...

Hello,
I'm wondering what are people's experience is with boxes, like those
from Gigamon, to aggregate 10g span ports? Any recommendations?
As background, we currently have a sensor network where we provide
our InfoSec team with taps from various points in our network. In
cases where we have

We swapped out our Canobeams a while ago for units by Bridgewave

Heya,
I'm trying to quickly pull together some very rough
budget numbers for purchasing a full monitoring
system (network, server, security, facilities). Is
there a source for rough unit costs? If not, does
anyone have recent RFI pricing that they'd be willing
to share?

As annoying as this might sound, this is one of the
standard operating modes for load balancing within
a Microsoft server cluster (see NLB). We've tried
to avoid it, but it seems to come up around once a
year from someone on our campus...
Michael,
Do you have logging or audit requirements to your filters?
We use ACLs almost everywhere for non-stateful filtering, but
there are a few locations (e.g. HIPPA) that require an
audit trail which is perhaps better accomplished by a firewall.

Hello,
Around 7:45am this morning, we started to see intermittent
issues for some sites across Cogent's backbone. Their
internal tracking number appears to be #800535. Does anyone
have more information?
Eric :)
