hrm. if you're on the list, you have to take the comments of the
mailing list committee. all of them. if you think they're abusing
their power, take it up with the steering committee. if you think the
list should be something other than what the charter is, work to
change the charter (rather than rudely just posting things you know to
be off-topic).
by stating in public that you ignore the feedback of a respected
member of the mailing list committee who is trying to do his best to
enforce the topicality rules of the mailing list, you reveal yourself
to be unprincipled and disruptive. this is, presumably, not the way
to make friends and influence people (or further your career, or
spread information or whatever it is you are trying to do on the nanog
list).
